Sunrise Village Road Work Schedule
August 6, 2012 by sunrisevillage
Roads scheduled for work are: River Bluff Trail, Minaret Circle, the east end of Sunshine Way and Mammoth Way from Century Dr to the SRV Gate.
In discussions with the contractor we believe we have put together a plan that will minimize disruption, please check below to see when you might be impacted by the construction.
Work will begin this Friday (August 10) with crack sealing all above listed roads. This process should cause minimal disruption to traffic flow. Please drive slowly and watch for workmen.
Monday August 13: starting at 8am work will begin on River Bluff Trail. Please plan to have your vehicle outside the work zone on Monday morning before 8am as the plan is to close RBT from approx. 8am until 5pm unless it’s a hot day and the sealing product dries quicker, it may open earlier.
Tuesday August 14: starting at 8am both the east end of Sunshine Way and Minerat Circle will be closed from 8am until 5pm. Please move any vehicles you may need during that time outside the work zone. The road may also open earlier if it’s a hot day and the sealing product dries sooner. Trash will be picked up before 7:30am on Minaret and Sunshine
Wednesday August 15: starting at 8am Mammoth road will be closed in sections, flaggers will be in place to detour traffic around the work zone or detour you through an alternate route. This process may be disruptive to coming and going in SRV please allow extra time for to get where you are going.
The parking area outside the pool/lodge is also slated for work and will be done on Monday or Tuesday depending on how work progresses on each of the other streets and time available at the end of the day.
Please feel free to contact me if you have concerns or special needs related to the above information.
Also work has finally started on the Tennis Courts with patching on the Mammoth courts. Please note that the work being done to the tennis courts is very easily damaged by rain until it has cured. The contractor completing the work is very cautious when applying the coating to be as sure as possible that no storms will result in his having to redo the work. I appreciate all the patience the tennis community has had in waiting for this work to be complete.
